WELCOME TREND-Overseas experience is always a good thing
WELCOME TREND TOKYO (Nikkei)--More Japanese college students are studying overseas as companies increasingly look for recruits with foreign language skills and overseas experience. At Temp Research Institute Co., the overseas study unit of major staffing agency Tempstaff Co., the number of students who have applied to study at U.S. and U.K. universities next spring or after is up 30% on the year. Ryugaku Journal estimates about 183,000 Japanese students, including short-term language learners, were abroad in 2010, up 18% on the year.

Matsuzaka never delivered the goods but got rich
I watched him dominate Koshien and saw a future superstar. Then he went to the States, got fat and started complaining about the workouts. Bit of Irabu Syndrome. What a shame. But he got rich-that is for sure. When he comes back to Japan and is still ineffective, what will happen to the legend?
